Beachfront Bed & Breakfast owners, Rich & Lauren are active members of the following local organizations:

- Flagler College Presidents Council
- Northeast Florida Community Hospice
- Council on Aging
Rich will serve as Vice Mayor of The City of St. Augustine Beach in 2012. He previously served as Vice Mayor in 2007 and Mayor in 2008 and Commissioner in 2009-10 and Mayor in 2011.
Rich is a member of the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council.
